Karl Brazil takes over as temporary drummer
James Blunt and Natalie Imbruglia drummer Karl Brazil is taking over temporary drumming duties with Feeder after the departure of Mark Richardson. Karl will be drumming with the band throughout the summer until the position can be filled permanently.
Speaking to Drummer Magazine, Karl said:
“I used to be in heavier bands like Feeder at college and school, but I just ended up getting more into the pop field as those were the opportunities that came up.
When I got the call off a friend to ask me if I’d be interested in playing with Feeder, I said absolutely! It’s a genre of music I haven’t played for a while and I actually love their stuff.”
Karl also added that he was looking forward to playing the summer festivals, “I know I don’t look like a rocker, but I am! I don’t think I’ll stand out. I haven’t done many rock festivals so I’m looking forward to the challenges that come my way! I guess I’ll need to emulate some of what Mark used to do, which won’t be easy; he’s a monster on the kit. I can’t wait to hit the stage with them, I’m really excited”
Karl supports Birmingham City Football Club. You can visit his extremely funky website by clicking here.

Feederweb confirms Richardson depature
The band’s official website Feederweb has confirmed that Feeder and Mark Richardson have parted ways after seven years of rockin it up. The statement reads:
“Feeder have decided to end their partnership with Mark Richardson after seven years. We wish Mark every success in the future. Mark would like to express his gratitude to the band and especially to all the fans who made the experience so enjoyable. Feeders recently advertised August festivals will not be affected.”

Mark Richardson leaving Feeder?
Rumours persist that Feeder drummer Mark Richardson has left the band following the news that Skunk Anansie have got back together full-time. The eternal font of inaccuracy, Wikipedia, also claims Mark has left the band as of April 2009. Read more on the FFS Pro Boards and join in the discussion by clicking here.

Feeder’s latest release, the Japanese-only EP Seven Sleepers will now have been sent out to all those who ordered them from the band’s website Feederweb, despite the online shop going bust inbetween payment and dispatch.
If you were unlucky enough to miss the boat on this one, you can still pick it up from CDJapan for a reasonable 1800yen (less than it sounds – about £13 to £14) by clicking here: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=VICP-64657

New Japanese Release & new tracks around the corner
Feeder are set to release a new EP in Japan, with two new tracks; ‘Snowblind’ and ‘Seven Sleepers’. The EP, which will be released on Feeder’s Japanese label Victor will also include the Public Image cover, B-Side Somewhere To Call Your Own, an acoustic version of We Are The People and Tracing Lines. Release date is Wednesday 18th February, but chances of seeing the tracks in the UK are slim given the state of the now non-existent Echo Label.

Feeder Crew Motorway Bus Fire Shocker
"The crew of Feeder’s current UK tour escaped unharmed this weekend when their bus caught fire on the M62 while travelling between Glasgow and Lincoln. The band who had played a sold out show at Glasgow Barrowlands the previous evening were travelling in a separate vehicle.
At 5:30am on Saturday 25th October the driver of the crew bus saw flames and smoke coming from the back of the tour bus. The driver immediately pulled onto the hard shoulder and woke the 13 sleeping crew members to evacuate them.
Minutes after everyone was safely away from the vehicle, the fire took hold and the bus was completely destroyed. As well as tour equipment and merchandise, the 13 men and women on board lost their personal belongings. JD Sports in Lincoln kindly dressed the crew the following day!"

Feeder to play Astoria
Feeder are set to play at London’s famous Astoria venue - providing it doesn’t fall down before the gig - on Tuesday the 18th November 2008. The venue is closing later in the year and Spangle & the boys were apparently keen to play there one last time. The band will also be playing the presumably nicer Quattro Club in Tokyo on October 5th. Fightstar have also been announced as support for the first half of their autumn tour. Less said about that the better.

Want a ticket? You’ll have to get off your arse first, because the only way to get one is to do four hours of COMMUNITY SERVICE. Like a criminal, or something. Read more here

Tracing Lines/Silent Cry fail to make top 100
The Tracing Lines/Silent Cry single release has failed to even make the top 100 in the UK singles charts this week. It was the second single release from the criminally overlooked Silent Cry album and Feeder’s first (and hopefully last) ever download-only single. Click here to discuss on the forum

Tracing Lines to be download only with no new material
Things went from bad to worse for Feeder fans yesterday when the band’s official website Feederweb announced that the next single from the Silent Cry campaign; Tracing Lines, has been pushed back to a 25th August release date, and will be a download only single release with no new material.
The single has been double A-Sided with Silent Cry, but both tracks featured on the Silent Cry album, so incentive to buy is practically non-existent for anyone who purchased the album. Instead of new material, the band are offering various live versions and instrumentals, plus a digital version of We Are The People B-Side ‘Somewhere to Call Your Own’, which more annoyingly, will not be available to non-iTunes users, as it will be exclusive to that service.
Released: 25 August 2008
Formats: digital download only
Bundle 1:
iTunes Exclusive – featuring ‘Somewhere to Call Your Own’ a B-side previously unavailable digitally.
1. Tracing Lines
2. Tracing Lines (Live from XFM's All Day Breakfast)
3. Somewhere to call your own
4 Silent Cry
Bundle 2:
1. Tracing Lines
2. Tracing Lines (Live from XFM's All Day Breakfast)
3. Silent Cry
Bundle 3:
1. Tracing Lines (The Crypt Sessions)
2. Silent Cry (The Crypt Sessions)
3 . Tracing Lines (Instrumental)
4 . Silent Cry (Instrumental)

Website Updates Continue
The Videography, Band Section, Links and Archives are now working properly, but the Albums and Singles sections will still be looking a little strange until the end of the week. Apologies for any inconvenience caused, of course and the website should be fully refurbished by this time next week.

Website Updates
We just can't stop fiddling. Be warned - if you intend on using this website over the next couple of days lots of strange things will be happening, such as text overlapping other text, images overlapping other images and demons invading your dreams. All should be resolved by the end of the week... Just don't look at the website too much until then.

Fflam Festival Postponed
Fflam - Wales's new contemporary music festival, due to happen at Swansea's Singleton Park over the weekend of Friday 13th until Sunday 15th July - will not being going ahead on those dates.
A statement has just been issued by the organisers Straight Music, which reads as follows:-
Due to consistently bad weather conditions over the last few weeks, we regret that the Fflam Festival has been postponed. This has been a hard, but well considered decision and we believe it is the best one for all concerned. Due to the bad weather, we have been delayed in putting the infrastructure in place and it is a big concern that the weather conditions will hugely dampen the experience we want to give all our festival goers. Postponing the festival will mean that we can give everyone the Fflam festival experience they deserve, bands, organisers and festivalgoers alike. We expect the new date to be at the end of the summer and are doing all we can do get everything reorganised as quickly and efficiently as possible so that we can confirm the date within the week. Full refunds will shortly be available from point of purchase for anyone who wishes to take this option, but we would like to reassure everyone that the festival WILL take place and encourage them to await further information on the new date before making this decision.
Meanwhile, Feederweb have denied that Feeder were going to participate in the event anyway - despite it being announced that they were going to play on the Fflam Festival Website.

Well, kind of. 01.02.07 Dirk didn't win Big Brother
Well FFS-hero Dirk Benedict failed to win Celebrity Big Brother. No doubt because of how utterly-butterly our campaign was. (Ie. Rubbish.) Still, we salute the Faceman for being an absolute legend and giving us something to think about whilst Feeder remain locked away in the tallest tower of the tallest castle on the tallest mountain just outside Camden.
04.01.07 FFS supports Dirk in Big Brother
FFS is the 2007 Unofficial Sponsor of Dirk Benedict winning Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother. Dirk goes up against such nobodies as Carole Malone (who?), Donny-shit band, poor sales-Tourette and some bird who shagged Teddy Sheringham. To pledge our support to 'Face', and in light of the current Feeder-related-stuff-drought, FFS will become Dirk's Unofficial website for the next three weeks. For the latest information on Big Brother click here. For more Dirk related goodness, keep checking FFS for updates.

01.12.06 FFS Returns
Welcome back to Feeder Fan Site. As you may or may not have noticed, we've been unavailable for the past month or so whilst the website has been re-designed. 23.10.06 Changes to FFS
FFS will be undergoing some minor cosmetic changes over the coming weeks. During this time, pages might not work properly, text will overlap images and small children will probably cry. However, by the end of the month the website will be looking spiffing again with some brand new stuffs. Swahili!
13.10.06 Feeder announce additional War Child show
From Feederweb: We are delighted to confirm that we have added a 2nd night at the legendary Roundhouse in Camden. The North London venue has recently undergone a total refurbishment and looks set to be one of the country's premier live venues.
The Coronet is a small and beautiful theatre steeped in history at Elephant and Castle and is along with the Roundhouse will allow fans to see the band and their supporters in a truly intimate venues.
Feeder will be playing full electric sets with special guests appearing each night. Each night the set will be different. So, expect the unexpected.
Feeder are delighted to have the support of The Young Knives who are opening up on Monday 6th November, Boy Kill Boy on Tuesday 7th and Larrikin Love on Thursday the 9th. They are all amazing acts and will be a great start to the evening.
Feeder have had a longstanding association with War Child and the idea of the North and South London shows was born following the boys trip to Democratic Republic of Congo earlier this year. We hope to generate in the region of £100,000 from the shows that will go directly to the charity.
06.10.06 FFS in at 132 in the DMAs 2006
Feeder Fan Site finished in a respectable #132 at this years Digital Music Awards this week - 32 positions higher than last year. Whilst 132 might not sound too impressive, it does mean that FFS is officially more popular than the Sugababes, and, at the rate we're gaining each year, we should be Number #1 by 2016. Thanks to everyone who voted for us - hugs'n kisses all round.

30.07.06 Save Us Charts at 34
Feeder's latest single Save Us has bombed in the UK Singles Charts - only just managing to make it into the top 40, making it Feeder's worst charting single since Day In Day Out way back in March 1999. FFS blames the disaster on Grant's love of lesbians being announced too late on in the week.
28.07.06 Grant loves lesbians
Feeder front man confirmed what we always expected today during an interview with the Sun. He claims "There were two lesbians snogging at the front row at Brixton. I was on stage and did a double take. I didn’t think we had a particularly large lesbian following. I don’t mind it at all though! It’s definitely better than two men." The filthy bugger. Read the full interview by clicking here, Rhonda.
Cheers to Charlie for bringing this important breaking news to our attention.
28.07.06 FFS loves lesbians
FFS would like to today announce it's own love of lesbians. To celebrate, we want you to send us your lesbian pictures and videos. The very best ones will be forwarded to Feederweb for Grant to take a look at, too.

26.07.06 Support Mark on Bike Ride
(From Feederweb) On November 18th this year Mark will embark on an (two week) epic adventure. A 2500km motorbike trip around South Africa. They need to average about 220 km per day (roughly London to Leeds, off road) to stay on schedule so it is going to be pretty grueling.. There are 100 riders doing this with the aim of donating the fundraising and the Yamaha, AG 200s to Riders For Health at the end. The charity was set up by 500cc World Motorcycle Champion Randy Mamola and Andrea and Barry Coleman, 15 years ago, to aid and train outreach health workers in Africa. This really is important work! There is no point in providing medicines if they cannot be distributed to the people who need them. This is the gap which Riders is bridging. For more information on the charity please visit www.riders.org. Mark's friends at Riders, Yamaha and Justgiving have helped him set a web page where you can go to donate securely. Click here.

13.05.06 Grant denies more split rumours
Words by Stereoboard.com
Feeder frontman Grant Nicholas has denied reports the band are ready to split after failing to secure a new record deal. Rumours have been abound that Nicholas had decided to embark on a new musical venture after the release of their singles album, but the singer has refuted those claims. He said: "People thought I was saying it would be our last album ever, which isn't the case. "We might do a new deal with our current label, or we might go with a different label, we're not sure yet. But we're not splitting up. There's the possibility of us all doing other stuff in the future. Who knows in this business? But I've no plans to finish just yet. I think there's a time when bands do need to stop but I don't think Feeder have reached that yet."
Nicholas also played down talk of a rift with drummer Mark Richardson, who only joined the group on a permanent basis in 2005 following the suicide of founder member Jon Lee three years earlier. "Mark and myself are very different people," Nicholas added. "And it's still taking time. But it's working and he's starting to really fit in now."
08.05.06 Lost And Found charts at Number 12

29.04.06 Feeder inStore Live at HMV in London
(Taken from Feederweb 28 April 2006)
"FEEDER will play a full electric set at HMV, Oxford Street, London at 6pm on Wednesday 3rd May. This is the first full electric live instore the band have played since the legendary Tower Records, Piccadilly Instore of January 2001 to accompany the release of Buck Rogers. Crowd surfing from the racks and a classic performance. This was followed by a semi acoustic instore at HMV in 2003 in support of Just the Way I'm Feeling. This was the biggest instore in HMV's history, with over 1500 people at the store. Such is the anticipated demand to meet the band that the signing session only will be restricted to fans with wristbands. These will be issued on a 'first come first served' basis - one wristband per person from the store opening on the day of the event. The store opens at 9am on Wednesday 3rd May and the band will take to the stage at 6pm prompt for a high octane 30 minute set. The live event itself will obviously be open fully to all."

FFS' very own Mr.T is now running his first ever Q&A session. Echo deny rumours that a tumble weed was spotted floating past Grant's house in London in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Onlookers described the tumble weed as 'big', 'round' and 'hairy' and was said to be moving at a slow, steady, bouncing pace. However, a spokeperson for Echo issued a statement claiming that the sighting was "complete and utter fabrication" and claimed that fans and rumour mongers had "too much time on their hands". More as it happens.
15.02.06 FFS Helmet makes 36 quid for WarChild
The FFS designed Bob the Builder helmet finally sold on eBay for an impressive 36 pounds this week. All the proceeds went straight to charity (and a proper one too, not one made up by us) and we'd like to thank all those who bid on the item. Also of note and slightly less exciting was the sale of the official Feeder designed military helmet which sold for a measly 330GBP. Barely worth posting it for that...
29.01.06 FFS designed Bob the Builder Helmet now on eBay
Feeder aren't the only ones with helmets and marker pens. We've raided the office toybox and pen draw to bring you an exclusive Bob the Builder helmet desinged by us! Bidding starts at just 50p (a snip!) and all proceeds will go to the same War Child charity as the official helmet auction.
28.01.06 eBay Auction price lowered for Feeder helmet
The starting price has been lowered from 500 to 100GBP on the Jarhead Military helmet designed by Grant Nicholas after the original auction failed to attract a single bid.

The lads have been working with War Child again and have teamed up with Universal to design a military helmet for the new Jarhead movie. Located at 121-125 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0EW. So don't miss out on what will probably your only chance to see/touch Grant's helmet.

22.08.05 Feeder declare October 10th a National Holiday
The band haved deemed that Monday October 10th should indeed become a national holiday across the UK for the release of new single Shatter. The decision comes as fans begin preperations for Shatter's imminent 'domination of the world', beginning with the UK Singles Charts with FFS urging fans to even 'buy a copy for your gran'. Unfortunately your boss/teacher might not 'recognise' this new holiday so we've consulted a local doctor who has supplied us with a statuary sick note especially for you to print out and hand in to guarantee yourself the day off to go and buy Shatter. We've left the medical condition up to you. You could choose something exotic like lyme disease, rabies or even e-coli. Of course you could always just say you're 'shattered'. (You see what we did there?) Download the sick note at the top of the page.
22.08.05 Win a signed copy of Two Colours

Photographic evidence and till receipts will be required as proof and entrees are to be sent to editor@feederfansite.com.

The band's official website confirmed that Shatter will be released on Monday October 10th October as a double A-Side with Tender this week. The site which finally hopped on the FFS inspired Shatter bandwagon goes on to state that the video for Shatter is being directed by Charlie Lightening and will feature a re-enacted 360-degree lorry stunt taken from Russian Vampire flick Nightwatch. Shatter will also be used on TV ads and cinema trailers for the movie across the UK.

The band announced that Tender would accompany Shatter on the double A-Side single released on October 3rd in an interview for XFM. Both songs are to feature on the soundtrack to the first instalment in the upcoming vampire trilogy Night Watch starring Konstantin Khabensky (don't worry, we'd never heard of him either!) and the video for Shatter will feature footage from the movie.
Grant also wets the appetites of old school fans by suggesting that the next album will be heavier and contain some classic Feeder anthems.

16.07.05 Site updates
FFS is undergoing some slight changes over the next couple of days so bear with us. Some pages have dust-sheets over them at the minute and the paint's still wet in places, but it should all be complete by Tuesday or Wednesday. The interviews section will be improved and we're introducing a new features section for all downloads, useful information and other 'fun stuffs'. The fan has also written a new rant which can be read in the articles section now.
16.07.05 New single to be released in October
It looks like Feeder's fourth and final single from the PTS campaign will be released around October time, according to Grant. The single has also been confirmed as Shatter although it could possibly be released as a double A-Side with another track from Pushing The Senses. You can listen to the interview courtesy of Irish Radio Station 'Today FM' from the link at the top of the page.
11.07.05 Feeder to release Shatter
According to reports, Grant yesterday confirmed that uber-popular rock track Shatter would be the final single release of the PTS campaign on Irish radio station Today FM. Speaking to Tom Dunne Grant said that there were a few songs that didn't make the album, but one received huge support on their website and a petition was formed in favour of it being released which is why they have decided to release that track. Watch this space for the 'Get Shatter to Number 1 in the Charts' campaign.
08.07.05 Feeder to play at the Carling Hammersmith Appollo
Feederweb have revealed that the band will be playing in London on Monday 5th December 2005 at the Carling Hammersmith Appollo. This will be part of a small UK tour at the end of the year and further dates will be announced on feederweb in the near future. Tickets are on sale from www.seetickets.com.
The band have also cancelled their performance at Forestglade next week and will be instead providing support for REM at the re-scheduled show in Hyde Park on Saturday 16th July.
07.07.05 REM Hyde Park Show Postponed
Due to the tragic circumstances today in London, the Safety Advisory Group for Hyde Park has agreed that R.E.M.'s scheduled concert for this weekend, July 9th, will be postponed until Saturday July 16th. Feeder were originally assigned to support REM for the show, but are to play at the Forestglade Festival in Austria on the date of the re-schedule.
03.06.05 Pushing The Senses charts at 30.
Pushing The Senses entered the charts at number 30 this week, the lowest placing in the Feeder singles chart since Day In Day Out in March 1999. Feeder Fan Site blames the dissapointing sales figures on lack of airplay, promotion and big breasted naked women who have recently split up from their boyfriends.
28.06.05 Pushing The Senses Released
Feeder's latest single Pushing The Senses is available now in all good record stores on CD and 7" Vinyl. The single is also available to download at MSN Music Club and via the official Echo download store on the official website.

The show will include the best live performances from today's Festival including Faithless, Roxy Music and, wait for it... Feeder! 11.06.05
Feeder wowed Donington Park last night with a cracking set of old and new. "Kings of the three-minute indie-pop song, Feeder's appearance is somewhat symbolic, signalling a welcome divergence from the olde rock of yore to a much broader range of styles as their focused indie suss caresses our hardened rock minds, reaching places the days heavier, riff-wielding bands simply fail to reach. 'High' is an exercise in restrained brilliance, while their stadium-conquering worth is proven only too well with life-affirming indie anthem 'Buck Rogers'. Grants fragile vocals radiate an understated cool, shades of colour cascading through their stirring, typically sun-bleached sounds with heart-warming results. A girl, waving a Welsh flag, is plucked from the crowd and paraded on stage, not only showing their allegiance to their native Wales but also their undeniable connection with their fans..." said the official Download Website. Feeder played Come Back Around, Insomnia, Waiting For Changes, Jtwif, FAM, We Can't Rewind, Comfort In Sound, Bitter Glass, Tender, You're My Evergreen, High, My Perfect Day, Descend, Pushing The Senses, Buck Rogers and Just A Day.

The online petition supporting the Shatter campaign has finally reached it's target of 1,000 signatures today after just two months. As you can see we're still here. And you thought you'd finally got shot of us once and for all didn't you.. It's been a difficult week for FFS, but after several donations and a massive number of emails and even a new 'fans FFS' site being produced, we had little choice but to keep the website open. So it's business as usual for now on. Thanks to everyone who helped get FFS back up and running, especially David Hume for his kind donation.

Across two formats, the single will feature two brand new tracks - I For You and Crowd Of Stars. The 7 vinyl will also include Pete Lavelles Squeaky Clean U-MYX of the groups last release, Feeling A Moment, (not the backside-spankingly good 'Delia Smith Mix' created by Feeder Fan Site).

Feeder Fan Site News
I regret to announce that Feeder Fan Site will be closing on May 31st 2005. The site was originally going to close in March when my son, Iwan was born, but I decided to keep the website running a little longer because the ffs pro boarders forced me too. Unfortunately it is proving too much work and too costly to keep the website going. The website was created, written and is updated entirely by myself and I have other projects which I now wish to focus on.
The FFS Pro Boards will continue to run as normal.
I'd like to thank everyone for all their support and contributions to the website and I'd also like to thank the band themselves, who despite their critics continue to produce the best music in the world. Cheers guys.

11.04.05 Feeder to play 'oldies' at Download festival
According to an XFM interview, Feeder will revisit their back catalogue for their headline performance at this years Download festival in June. Grant told XFM "Downloads going to be a good one. We have enough of a back catalogue to keep it rocky, but we're not going to go out there and pretend to be Slayer. We're planning on going back to some songs weve not played for a really long time from the Swim and Polythene albums. It may be the last time we play them, but itd be great to do. Were aware were guinea pigs for this, but we can handle it. Well make it work. We have to." Read the full interview at the following URL

01.04.05 SHATTER confirmed as Feeder's next single!
What's that you say? I'm not falling for that one again. No sir. You're right, we're lying, Shatter hasn't been confirmed as the band's next single. It should be though! So we're using today to launch our 'release Shatter as a single campaign'! Shatter is quite possibly the best Feeder song ever and not releasing it would be a criminal offence. Most fans have already voiced their opinion on the subject and even Grant himself has admitted it'd be a good idea.
So let's make it happen! We've set up a special 'release Shatter as a single web page' (link is on the left) which includes banners, wallpapers, images and even our very own specially made music video featuring an old ffs favourite for you to download and watch again and again! And again, and again and again. It's that good! We'll also supply you with important email addresses so you can write to the head hunchos at Echo and demand Shatter be released. C'mon people; Raar! Remember, display your Shatter banners with pride and help premote fan power.

*The official website is offering fans the chance to create a B-Side for the third PTS single by using the special U-MYX software included on CD2 of Feeling A Moment which is released on April 4th. The software allows you to tinker with the music and create you're own unique mix of the song. It also allows elements to be removed entirely such as drums, guitars, vocals, or even all three, although that really isn't recommended if you want to win. Check out the official site (feederweb.com) for more details.

For those of you who were disgusted at the way Feeder's performance of "Just The Way I'm Feeling" was handled by Blink TV on Channel 4's Sonsiphere highlights, then up there ^ is a YouTube link to "Buck Rogers" which shows the band and only the band, and not annoying random people enjoying their festival acting like fools!.
Last time I saw Feeder was at the Nowich UEA, hope they come back there and play "Descend", been long missing from the setlists!!.
When people listen to the song, they only really take into the energy of the track, if you read the lyrics at the same time then you see the track from a different angle. It's like "Just a Day"- everyone at live gigs is chanting the do-do-do back at the band, getting all sweaty leaping up and down, but if you look into the lyrics they're actually very sad in emotion. Having said that, this is one of the things I love about the band. Raygun tried saying that about their music in that embaressing 4PLAY TV feature a few weeks ago!.
Anyways, here's the lyrics for "Descend" if you like to read them while listening to the track! :). Don;t think any other version of the song will beat that one they played at the Warchild Coronet gig!.
Sitting back I only wish
Today will turn out fine
And wash away the stain
The poison in my eyes
What do you recommend?
I feel my life descending
I'm falling out of reach
Catch me as I bleed (again)
I"m not insane
Can't reach the pain
CHORUS:
If I could be all by myself
I could be me
If you could see, live with my pain
The thoughts that I keep
I hate the way they are
Their patronising thoughts
Tried to get inside my head
Ask the question I have read
But one thing makes it hard
Feel so fragile as I cry
So confused yet so alive
So abused the system lied
You lied to me
I'm not insane
Can't reach the pain
CHORUS
Alone ....alone
Hands appeared around my neck
Felt so hard to breathe I stared
As my focus turned to haze
I could see them
I'm not insane
Can't stand the pain
CHORUS

^^ Simply amazing songwriting there Mr Nicholas, but the older you got the better, just like a fine wine!.

Looking through the window shade
Stare at streets that bear no name
Now it all looks strange to me
Yesterday seems like a dream
But I often try too hard
To break the routine of my day
Turn around, see what I see,
Can't help wishing it would
Change...
Change again, change again
Unchain myself, I will
See the faces in the crowd
Busy streets they move around
Underground seems such a drag
Waiting still and then we
Change...
Change again, change again
Unchain myself, I will
The more I see, the more it hurts
The more we change, it all seems worse
The more I see, the more it hurts
the more we change it all seems...
See tomorrow
See...
See tomorrow
As it drags me there I fell
A sense of urgency unveil
What's in store for us today?
Read the paper, drift away...
Drift away, away
Oh how I hate to feel this way
(Change, change again)
The more I wait for it to change
(Change again, change, unchain myself, I will)
The more I see the more it hurts
(Change, change again)
The more we change it all seems worse
(Change, change again)
The more I see the more it hurts
(Unchain myself)
The more we change it all seems...

"The more i see, the more it hurts,
The more we change it all seems worse."
So true, change is not always for the better and that song is brilliant. They should have kept "Waterfall" on Polythene 2 though.

As for "Sentimental", what a song!!!, Feeder go grunge this is for me and can't wait to hear it when it's on the album. Apparently Grant said it's not finished yet so might do some more lyrics on it and add extra verses or guitar parts.
As for the b-sides, so damn right. When I first got into Feeder during the "Echo Park" era, I eventually got all the singles and realised that most of those tracks would not sound out of place on any album. It made me see a different side to the band as well :). "Bring it Together" on "Forget About Tomorrow" may be short, but is a really energetic track that would also be a good track to put at like track 6 on an album as an interlude.
(Posted on 2009-08-16 12:41:00 by ) -
WELL SAID SOH!!!, this is something Carlos and Matt the twat don't appreciate, I many other fans I know can't stand these "Feeder are not the same band anymore!", "Grant's voice is not as good as it was!". UGH, move on and enjoy the music!, the majority of fans can't stand hearing this at all, it's only the minority who moan.
(Posted on 2009-08-16 12:28:00 by ) -
Oh. my. sweet. jesus.
"Temper Temper my little friend"?, i think you need to go back to Kindergarden, you used an upper case letter TWICE there, and using pathetic childish phrases like "little friend" only makes you look like even more of a little prick than you already are. I'm not trying to sound clever, and I DO have an argument unlike you, you Feeder hater. Call yourself a FAN!?, I think it's you who needs the yellow pages to stand on.
I know nothing about arguments over the internet, more like you do instead as you seem to love starting them up.
Your message was childish, pathetic, and if you you're really think what you said made you look clever then you're terribly mistaken.
I've had a tough week especailly after seeing Ipswich still fail to win a match so far this season, and to read your message made me crackup and cheered me up.
Keep em coming you sad twat, anybody can smack you in the gob, seeing you're so weak and only have a keyboard to fight with.
"Little friend" was obvioulsly relating to my so-called small height, sad, sad, sad. I bet you're a little 6 year old with nothing better to do than slag bands off on the internet. I'd love to see you stand on your yellow pages and say what you said about Grant sounding like an old man to his face. You wouldn't have the guts.
Time to bum off baboon boy!, and keep the insults comnig left right and centre!, I need a laugh!.
(Posted on 2009-08-16 12:22:00 by ) -
"Sentimental" is a very heavy song. Remember me on Nirvana, BUT NOT ON FEEDER ! ! !
What is happening with this band?
What is happening with Grants voice?! !
I don´t like this NEW Sound, I miss the older sound. "The more i see, the more it hurts,
The more we change it all seems worse."
cheers!
(Posted on 2009-08-14 06:55:00 by ) -
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.........Temper Temper my little friend. You finished swearing? It makes you look really really clever! I love your argument......you havent got one... Your just swearing alot!!! You must be about 8 years old if you swear that much! hahaha. Thats Hilarious. And how exactly would you smack me in the gob....you'll need some yellow pages to stand on first!
I assume you have a lot of arguments over the internet....you seem to know alot about them! I also assume you lose alot by them comments! haha
(Posted on 2009-08-08 12:28:00 by ) -
I just got a hold of all feeders b-sides. Man, i've been missing out. The Song Crash Mat is so good! of course Emily is one of my favorite feeder songs that i've liked for awhile as is Satelite News. The difference between Uk bands and American bands is that the brits release so many b-sides! i love it! I love FEEDER.
(Posted on 2009-08-06 04:44:00 by ) -
I have issues with that word beginning with the letter C, but you made me angry rather than annoyed meaning you made me use it.
If you go onto a Feeder FAN site and bad mouth the band, expect to take critisim for it.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win you're still retarded.
Welcome to the Feeder FAN site shoutbox, I've said my piece and whatever you say back at me I'll gladly ignore knowing how much of a moron you really are.
(Posted on 2009-08-03 12:57:00 by ) -
Stop twisiting things also, you said I was biased towards the band and made a point why I'm not and you twisted round to lake it look like "Who's bashing the band now?".
Fuck off you sad c*nt.
(Posted on 2009-08-02 23:49:00 by ) -
Fuck off you sad Feeder hating twatface, everyone watches South Park for ***ks sake, and unlike you I am aware that there is a real world out there away from a frickin' plastic keyboard.
I'm not bad mouthing the band YOU ARE, the posters on FFS are ace people and calling me a moron is a very, very sad weak attempt to look tough when you are a little sad weakling who couldn't even harm a fly. You are a f*cking moron who should f*ck off to the looney bin where you came from. You have plenty of gob, but when you are not not behind a computer you can't fight back and have nothing to back it up.
You deserve a massive left hook in the gob, shame us Feeder fans don't know what you look like so we can beat you all up to a bluddy pulp.
(Posted on 2009-08-02 23:39:00 by ) -
Haha, no, i didnt get that from south park, but obvisously you've been spending too much time on your tv and computer world to know that. You don't like the Just a day video? Who's bad mouthing the band now? eh? I give it to posters here, i like em, but f**k me, i'm glad there not as stupid as you! lol. Moron.
(Posted on 2009-07-30 15:22:00 by ) -
It's all the time with any long-running band.
You'll get one half of the fan base bashing the band for not "sounding like their old material anymore" and the other saying they're still a good band as always or even better than they were in the beginning.
It's the price any band pays for evolving with their sound, rather than sticking with the same formula all the time, e.g. Napalm Death.
(Posted on 2009-07-19 23:30:00 by ) -
"Its like talking to christians about evolution! lol."
Watching too much "South Park" are we?, get a life, the real world is outside a computer and a TV series universe. Stop trying to sound clever with silly sounding statements, you only make youself look even more of a twat.
I am not single minded about the band, for a start the "Just a Day" video to me is a pile of poo and "Tumble and Fall" is their worse single.
(Posted on 2009-07-19 23:25:00 by ) -
No shut up yourself, we are not single minded in our views. This crap you're mention about bands not getting all good reviews is shit, look at Arcade Fire- not one bad word is said about them.
I'm getting annoyed with the likes of you spamming this shoutbox. Also, leave the FFS proboarders alone, they're a nice bunch unlike you!.
Twat.
(Posted on 2009-07-19 23:22:00 by ) -
lol, shut up Annoyed!!!!! I'm starting to get annoyed myself with peoples 1 minded views on here and the boards. Critism is good! A band can't get good reviews contantly!
These boards are turning into 1 minded crap...Its like talking to christians about evolution! lol
(Posted on 2009-07-19 08:23:00 by ) -
Hi all....
Does anyone have a Best Days CD they might like to sell - e-mail me - I will offer a very good price.
Thanks
Dave

That's right agree with Matt the twat and his stupid patheitc garbage his gums are chuttering out.
Keep off this website, it's for FANS not trolls to trash-talk the band.
(Posted on 2009-07-06 14:16:00 by ) -
Agrees with matt!
(Posted on 2009-06-14 10:39:00 by ) -
I just feel that Grant's voice has changed after Pushing the Senses.
Silent Cry he had a different voice. He sounds completely different then how he sounded on High and Satelite News and other greats. If he brings back his old voice, whatever they put out will be golden. The voice he's using now makes him sound old.

To those who love Feeder check the jacket (feeder army jacket) I have just posted on e-bay. It is an unique piece of clothing any fan of feeder would love to have!!! I'm going to travel around the world so I need the money...

Well said "annoyed". 7 sleepers is not a classic by any stretch of the imagination but for feeder fans its music gold! Still loving it after listening solid for a week now :-)

Keep your brutal flawed opinions off here, this is a FAN SITE.
(Posted on 2009-03-21 17:28:00 by ) -
I am a Feeder Fan since 1998 ( sweet 16)
and i like the sound of SWIM, POLYTHENE and YWTS, but not SEVEN SLEEPERS! That´s my meaning.
(Posted on 2009-03-21 11:06:00 by ) -
how on earh can you say that about "Seven Sleepers"?!, there is no pleaseing anyone.
Jon lee is a legend unlike yourself.
(Posted on 2009-03-20 23:46:00 by ) -
Seven Sleepers E.P.
is the worst record ever!!! This is not the typical Feeder sound i like. Grants voice is not the same like on evry record in the past!
I hope Feeder go back to the roots with the next record.
Jon Lee forever! cheers.
(Posted on 2009-03-19 18:01:00 by ) -

Ja es gibt tatsächlich ein paar Feeder Fans in Deutschland, die sich so sehr eine Tour wünschen und auch mal ein richtiges Label, damit auch Feeder mal in Deutschland ein bisschen bekannter wird
(Posted on 2009-02-15 17:27:00 by ) -
Schön dass man auch mal an die deutschen Fans denkt. Ich besuche FFS tatsächlich min. einmal am Tag. Gibts nicht mal endlich Termine für Feeder-Gigs in Germany?

I remember Mark saying on the Feederweb webchat in 2004, when I was one of the competition winners to meet him on the same day, that he likes BLT as one of his faves :).
Am so relieved everybody is alright :), was a real shocker when I read the headline.
(Posted on 2008-10-28 17:32:00 by ) -
:O thankfully no-one was hurt in the shocking Feeder tour bus fire! - I'd be happy to make up a food parcel for them now all their catering has been destroyed... wonder what kind of sandwiches they like? ;)

*mod mode*
for people trying to access the message boards & finding its either very slow or just not loading at all..... proboards central is having some problems and they're working on getting it sorted. dunno how long will be before back to normal. (ok own up, who started a fire this time? :P)

'Tracing Lines' release date has been moved from 11th August to 25th August. More to wait! :(
A good thing is that you can download 'Somewhere to Call Your Own' by digital download.
I wonder if the next single will come out on a physical copy as well as a digital one...I hope it does...
New single is on the Feederweb:

oh go on stace, listen to it on the bus... just don't sit next to me while you're doing so!
(Posted on 2008-07-24 12:19:00 by ) -
That is possibly my favourite review...of anything...ever.
I'm never gonna be able to listen to Miss You without laughing away to myself ever again. Maybe i should avoid listening to it on the bus then...hmmmn.
(Posted on 2008-07-23 20:11:00 by ) -
and FFS does it again, brilliant review
(and thank god, someone else agrees that Songs From The Crypt was a much better title idea!)
(Posted on 2008-07-23 20:04:00 by ) -
I'm curious for that review too... I hope FFS will write a good one.
(Posted on 2008-07-17 10:08:00 by ) -

sorry guys, mad moment :P

Bloody hell, I hate it when a decent album like Feeder's doesn't get well known. I guess give it another month or two, it will probably get more popularity when an advert pops on TV or something.
(Posted on 2008-07-09 12:55:00 by ) -
Agree... Feeder need to come to Australia. If small little indie artists can make it over here, why can't feeder?!
(Posted on 2008-07-08 08:32:00 by ) -
What happened to the lyrics page? Is it being updated?
(Posted on 2008-07-07 17:59:00 by ) -
I love Feeder's new album :]
what i hate is that i live in Australia and they havent toured here since 2000 i think its time for another visit its been so long and its time to come back around again.
what marcus said its so true...plus they deserve more then what they got now but hey at least there selling records and got a good fan-base too
(Posted on 2008-07-07 13:55:00 by ) -
thanks Rach :)
(Posted on 2008-07-06 15:33:00 by ) -
Yeah Suey, it really annoys me, EVERY TIME Coldplay put out an album there's this big media fanfare, but when it's Feeder it's all hush-hush in comparison :-(.
(Posted on 2008-07-05 09:47:00 by ) -
Nothings funny about a mean review when it's band you like. Why is it when Feeder get bad reviews the writer really, REALLY rips into them?!, it don't happen to other bands. Pathetic and childish, that's what it is.
(Posted on 2008-07-05 09:46:00 by ) -
er... yes. Leo's post was so good he had to post it twice.
Chloe, I love yer tour diaries. Ace reading!

it´s a good record, but since Jon Lee was gone, the band has lost the typical "feeder-sound". YESTERDAY WENT TO SOON" is the best record...cheers from germany.

Tell All Your Friends- Echo Park
Staring out to reach a star
Contemplating life on mars
Life's a cover magazine
I'm an eggshell under feet
Till I see this house under pale blue skies
With golden fields that will burn your eyes
So let's take a drive underneath the sun
New intentions all around
Put the brakes on, slow it down
Trying to find a new release
Find a space that you can breath
But I've seen a house under pale blue skies
With golden fields that will burn your eyes
So let's take a drive underneath the sun
But don't come around, pulling me down
Telling the world how I let you down
Just tell all your friends
I wanna dream with you
So tell all your friends and neighbors too
CNN BBC world news
Tell all your friends I wanna dream with you
Tell all your friends
Tell all your friends
Tell all your friends
I don't wanna sit here catching flies
Cause I have seen this house under pale blue skies
With golden fields that will burn your eyes
So let's take a drive underneath the sun
But don't come around, pulling me down
Telling the world how I let you down
Just tell all your friends
I wanna dream with you
So tell all your friends and neighbors too
